Edward McTavish age 76 of Townsend passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the family home. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Townsend. Edward was a Board Member of The Little River Railroad and Lumber Co. Museum and enjoyed model railroading. He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired Service Manager with Clark Equipment Co. Preceded in death by: Parents, Walter & Mary Greenwood McTavish. Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Ann McTavish; Sons, Michael McTavish & wife Debbie of TN and Paul McTavish of Benton Harbour, MI; Daughters, Patricia McTavish of Sawyer, MI and Margaret Smith & husband Richard of Sawyer, MI; 3 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Helen & Bill Maloney of FL and Marge & Clem Szelkowski of WI. Private interment will be at Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum, PO Box 211, Townsend, TN 37882. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Smith East Chapel. Rosary Ceremony will follow at 7:00 PM. with Father John O'Neill officiating.
