Edna Victoria Wilhoite, age 99, of Maryville passed away Wednesday, December 03, 2008 at Colonial Hills Healthcare Center. She was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Hugh Wilhoite; Son, Perry R. Wilhoite; Brother, Joseph M. Hood; Sisters, Augusta Jett and Marcella Mikels; Brother, Brown Low Hood. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, Winfred M. Wilhoite of Acworth, GA, Ralph E. Wilhoite of Seymour, TN, Victor & Faye Wilhoite of Seymour, James & Sandy Wilhoite of Winchester, KY, and David & Laura of Livonia, MI; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Mary & Hix Foxx of Maryville, Anna & Rex Russell of Kennesaw, GA, Norma & Tony Solis of Oklahoma City, OK, Sarah & Gary Russell of Maryville, Nancy & Kyle Garner of Maryville; 39 Grandchildren; 59 Great-Grandchildren; 26 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, William "Bill" Hood, Caswell Hood, and Seth Rogers Hood all of Knoxville; Sisters, Janie Thomas of Knoxville, Irene Miller of Kennesaw, GA, and Huella Miller of Knoxville. George Macht officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2008, at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
