Edna L. Potter

Edna L. Potter age 90 of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.  She was a lifelong member of Edgewood Primitive Baptist Church.  Edna was very devoted to her church family, even making the communion bread.  Her hobbies include quilting and fishing, as well as many other activities.  Preceded in death by:  Parents, Gaither and Josie Ownby; Sister, Mildred Dial.  Survivors include:  Husband of 74 years, James “Ray” Potter; Daughter & Son-in-law, Ann & John Alderton; Grandchildren, Lisa Lin and Adam Alderton; Great-Grandchildren, Claire, Claudia, Celia, Blake, and Ashton.  Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM, Monday, November 7, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Elder Tommy Boring and Elder Henry Bo Thomas officiating.  A private graveside will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
