Edna Maxine Johnson Cowan of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, May 04, 2010 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church and retired from Alcoa. Preceded in death by: Husband, Charles Eugene Cowan; Parents, Floyd & Helen Johnson; Daughter, Edna Jean Cowan; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Dortha Hicks Sing and James Hicks, Jama & Gene Hamil; Brother & Sister-in-law, Ray & Louise Johnson; Niece, Susan Johnson. Survivors include: Sister & Brother-in-law, Caroline & Bill Crisp; Nieces, Terri Hamil, Staci and Andy Lawhorn all of Friendsville; Lynda & Charlie Long, Vickie and Randy Gray of Maryville; Brother-in-law, M.A. Cowan, Hugh & Alice Cowan; Nephews, Dennis Cowan, Gary Wayne Cowan, Mike Cowan; Special friends, Becca Daniels and Curtis Cunningham.
