Edith Jane "Janie" Potter

Edith Jane “Janie” Barker Potter, age 72 of Maryville, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure and C.O.P.D. She was a member of Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church in Maryville. She retired from Metezler Automotive. Preceded in death by her husband Jack Potter, Father Landsen Ramsey, Mother Louise Ramsey, Brothers Oral Ramsey and Danny Ray Barker. Survivors include her Brother Allen Ramsey and Sister-in-law Nancy Ramsey of Rickman Tennessee, Daughter’s Robin Holder and Alice Bradburn and Son-in-laws Darrell Holder and Allen Bradburn. Grandchildren Martie Glover, Michael Jenkins, Savannah Bradburn and Caleb Bradburn. Great-grandchildren Isabella Jenkins, Travis Glover, Ryley Glover and Reese Glover. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Smith West Chapel. A Celebration of Janie’s life will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Lowe officiating. Family and friends will assemble on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Laws Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. for the Interment.
