Edith Joyce Faircloth Pertuit

Edith Joyce Faircloth Pertuit age 91 passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Concordia Care in Maryville. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, long time resident of Marrero, Louisiana, Edith moved to Maryville, TN in 2014. She was a former Payroll Manager/Analysis for Jackson Brewing Company (1952-1975) and for Pool Offshore Company (1975-retirement) in New Orleans, LA. She led a full and fulfilling life enjoying family gatherings, baking for church functions, genealogy, travel, books, dancing, cats, crossword puzzles, and the mountains. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred A. Pertuit, Jr. (Pat); parents, Clotilde Burgoyne Faircloth and Legal Tender Faircloth; brother and sister-in-law, Legal C. Faircloth, Jr. (Blanch); in-laws, Adelle Gonzalez Pertuit and Alfred A. Pertuit, Sr.; sister-in-law, Fredia Pertuit Theriot (Chester). She is survived by her daughter, Andre’a Pertuit Rodriguez (Donald Patrick); grandchildren, Aaron Patrick Rodriguez; great grandchild, Jade Conino; several nieces and cousins throughout the United States and Canada. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in the Smith East Chapel. Friends and family are invited to the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at Hoanaker Funeral Home, Slidell, LA. Interment will follow the Mass at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
