Edgar G. Matheis

Edgar G. Matheis age 90 passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at UT Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was retired for the last 28 years and enjoyed fixing anything and everything for anyone. Preceded in death by his son David Matheis; grandson, Russell Hunt; parents; brother and sister. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Betty; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Linda Matheis; daughters and son-in-law, Ruth and William Hunt, Marisa Matheis, and Julie Bentz; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the Smith Chapel with graveside service and entombment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Grandview Mausoleum.
