E.C. Coleman, Jr.

E.C. Coleman Jr. age 91 of Rockford, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born in Loudon County on September 4, 1918 to Edward Charles and Iva Lusk Coleman. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and attended the Eastside Church of Christ. Preceded in death by: brothers and sisters-in-law, Millard and Kathlene Butler Coleman, Bernie and Mary Whittle Coleman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rachel and Fate McElhaney, Margaret and Ralph Kincer, Florence and Fred Deal; brothers-in-law, Jesse Condra, Louis Elmore, and Richard Shelton. Survivors include: wife, Mary Shelton Coleman and daughter, Martha Coleman both of Rockford; sisters, Iva Condra of Rogersville, and Evelyn Elmore of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Thresa Coleman of Knoxville and Betsy Shelton of Lenoir City; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00AM on Monday, July 26, 2010 at Sherwood Cemetery for the interment with Dean Buchanan officiating.
