Earle Mavis Rogers

Rogers, Earle Mavis born December 4, 1938 passed away Monday, February 5, 2007 at 6:30am at Cape Fear Valley Hospital after a long battle with COPD. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by parents; Cas and Katharyn (Bryant) Chambers; husband, Wayne Eugene Rogers and son, Michael Hubert Waters; sisters, Mildred Gunter, Elise Belcher, and Veran Whitehead and brother James Wendel "Smokey" Chambers. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Katharyn Ring; son, Daniel Wayne Rogers; granddaughter, Andrea Katharyn Alfano; sisters, Etta Lawhorn, Lorraine Satterfield, Joyce Latham, Brenda Riggs all of Maryville, TN and Daris Thacker of Ohio. The family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Smith Mortuary. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, February 9, 2007 at Smith Mortuary.
