Earl Edward Fulton

Earl Fulton, age 93 of Maryville, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024.  He was born April 27, 1930 in Oregon, IL. He joined the Air Force after graduation from high school and served 5 years stationed at Maxwell Air Base where he met his wife. He worked with FAA for 32 years, retiring at 59 years old.  Earl spent 10 ½ years of his tenure with FAA in the Panama Canal Zone.    Earl was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church for 50 years where he served as a Deacon and was a greeter for several years.   He had a passion for Missions, helping with Habitat for several years. Earl bought and delivered groceries to the Baptist Center for many years.  He also visited shut-ins, along with friend John Landers for many years.   He also worked for H & R Block for 12 years.   Preceded in death by:  parents, Edward & Bernice Fulton; son-in-law, Lynn Freeny; sisters, Donna Taft & Rose McInturff. Survivors include:  wife of 72 years, J. Joyce Ashcraft Fulton; four beautiful girls, Debbie Rushing, Cathy Webb & husband Coy, Lisa McDaniel & husband Jim, and Tammy Freeny; 12 grandchildren, 8 boys and 4 girls, Jason, Jeremy, Justin & Zach Rushing, Mandy, Mathew, and Marc Webb, Jaime, Jimmy & Andrew McDaniel, Caitlin & Emily Freeny; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Colson; and many, many friends.
