E. Jean Roberts Tilley, age 89, of Maryville, died Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the family home. Jean was of the Pentecostal faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Monroe Tilley Sr. and two sons, Francis Monroe Jr. and Larry Denver; and her daughter, Pheobe McGomery; Survivors include her children, Jerry Tilley of Ohio, Matthew F. Tilley of Indiana, Daniel Tilley of Ohio, Monroe Tilley of Florida, David Tilley of Ohio, Margaret Tilley and Joan Loper of Maryville, Sally Stevens of Ohio, Betty Denune of Ohio, Barbara Clark of Kodak, TN., Carol Barnes of Florida, and Ethel Cordell of Georgia; Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; Sister, Viola Castle of Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; The family would like to extend special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice staff for the care and support. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
