Dural Howard

Dural (Dudley) Howard, 86, departed this world on Oct. 7, 2022 to meet his Lord & Savior after a battle with cancer. He was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He served 4 years in USAF and 16 years in the 134th Air Refueling Group.  In 1955 he was stationed at McGhee Tyson Airbase.  He was one of the original technicians when the Air National Guard was founded in 1957.  He had many worldwide missions & adventures as an Inflight Refueling Supervisor.  He is preceded in death by parents Park and Maggie Howard and daughter Karen Law. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Carolyn Howard, Son Greg Howard (Laura), Stepdaughter Wendy Wilson (Lee), Brother Carl Howard, Grandsons Damon Law (Michelle), Gabe Law (Vanessa), Jacob Howard, Andrew Howard (Alexandria), Caleb Howard, Matthew Howard, Great Grandchildren: Peyton, Gavin, Makenna, Maverick, Jensen.  Special in laws:  Pam and Dillon Davis, Jack Stephens, Calvin and Phyllis Stephens and Son in law, Harold Law (Marsha).  Many nieces, nephews, and friends as well.  Private burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery.  The receiving of friends will be held at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 503 Pleasant Hill Rd from 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 12, 2022 with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 6:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 503 Pleasant Hill Rd., Maryville, TN 37803 or Life Streams Church, 1164 Centenary Church Rd., Maryville TN 37803.  Attending ministers will be Greg Howard, Allen Garrett, and Frank Mason.
