Doyle David Tipton age 77 of Maryville passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and owner of Doyle Tipton Roofing for over 40 years. Preceded in death by: Parents, Wade Hampton Tipton & Willie Mae Tipton; Sister, Ruth Tipton Reagan; Wife, Charlotte Louise Tipton; Son, Jeffery Lee Tipton. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, David & Sheryl Tipton; Daughter & Son-in-law, Pamela Steele & husband Frankie; Daughter, Tammy Doylleen Williams; Grandchildren, Josh Breeden, Amanda Breeden, Gracie & Daniel Tipton, Brandon Tipton, Stephen Hutchings, Chris Hutchings, Betty Lou Steele, Christlyn Tipton & Kaley Grace; many great-grandchildren; Brothers, Carl Tipton, Jessie Tipton, J.H. Tipton; Sisters, Colleen Headrick, Georgia Faye Correll, and Judith Payne; several nieces and nephews.
