Doyle R. Huskey

Doyle R. Huskey; age 90, of Maryville, passed Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company, West Plant, after 40 years of service. He was a member of the 25 Year Club. Doyle was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Doyle was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Lowe Huskey. Also preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Allie Whitehead Huskey; Brothers, Sam, Raymond and Luke Huskey; Sisters, Maude Cagle and Katherine Moore. He was survived by many, many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; Aunts, Ruth Hatcher and Mabel Minton; Uncle, Ernest Whitehead; Many friends and neighbors at Nickel Point; friends at Piney Grove Church; very special friend, Jaunita Turner and her family; Sisters-in-law Maggie Huskey, Ethel Huskey and Eileen Lowe. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Adrain Jones officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 PM Wednesday December 13, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
