Douglas "Doug" E. Tallent

Douglas E. Tallent, age 79, of Maryville, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at the family home. Doug loved his family, friends, and the outdoors. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman and was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co as an electrician with many years of service. Doug was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Ruth Thompson Tallent; and Son, Wayne Tallent. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Rozella Ivey Tallent; Son and daughter-in-law, John and Janice Tallent; Daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Robby Kirkland, and Candy and Tracy Martin; all of Maryville. Grandchildren, Katie, Keith, Cara, Randi, Kenna, David, Dori, Drake, Jacob, Lindsay, and Jarrett; Great Grandchildren, Lucas, Garrison, Kella, Rosie, Griffin, and Olivia; The family and friends will all assemble at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Grandview Cemetery for Graveside Service and Interment.
