Dorothy Bernice Riddle

We are saddened to announce the passing of Dorothy Bernice Riddle, who left this world on January 25, 2025, in Maryville, Tennessee. She was born on August 8, 1972, to her beloved mother, Mary Lee Blair. Bernice was a loving mother to her four children, Kevin Blair, Rebecca Riddle, Kendra Riddle, and Jessica Cooper; special adopted granddaughter, Catalaya. Also survived by her mother-in-law, Hazel Riddle. She adored her other five grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly. She had a zest for life and found joy in spending time with her family and friends. Bernice’s presence always brought warmth and laughter to those around her. She will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Smith East Hall.  Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM at Smith East Hall.  Family and friends will assemble for interment at 3:00 PM, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church.  The family is requesting donations be made to Smith Funeral Home at 865-983-1000 to help with burial expenses.
