Dorothy H. Leonard

Dorothy “Dot” Holt age 83 of Maryville passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at Shannondale.  Dot retired from the City of Alcoa after 48 years of service.  She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Dot was greeted in Heaven by her husband, David A. Leonard; great grandson, Everett Allen Sparks; parents, Richard and Leona Holt; brother, Troy Holt; sister, Diane Buchanan.  Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Craig Beshore; grandchildren, Kristin and Ryan Sparks, Kayla Beshore and Jess Burchfield; great grandchildren, Carolina, Sterling, and Mazzy; brothers and sisters-in-law,  Delmar and Linda Holt and Gene and Jama Holt; sister, Deloris Reagan; several loved nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the staff at Shannondale for the love and care they gave to Dot.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grandview Baptist Church, 2208 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803 in memory of Dot.  Family and friends will assemble at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Grandview Cemetery Pavilion for the interment service.  Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, 865-983-1000, www.SmithLifeandLegacy.com
