Dorothy Jean Ferguson age 79 of Friendsville, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the family home. She was of the Baptist Faith. She dedicated her life to raising her 9 children and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Preceded in death by: Parents, Erving & Rosa Mae Mull; Brothers, Robert Roy, Ervin Jr., and Astor Elvin Mull; son-in-law, Glenn Dunn. Survivors include: True love, best friend and caregiver, James (Papaw Jim) Price; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Arthur Ray & Sharon Ferguson of Harriman, Luther Ferguson of Maryville, Bobby & Tammy Ferguson of Maryville; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Linda & Benny Morris of Clinton, Mary Dunn of Luttrell, Sonia & Mike Roberson of Friendsville, Imogene & Tracy Layman of Sevierville, Rosa Lisa & Rick Howard of Maryville, Jennifer & William Bass of Oliver Springs; 12 Grandchildren, Michelle & Jeremy Roberson, Jerrica Lovingood, David Dunn, Courtney Hannah, Robby Ferguson, Brooklyn & Kala Howard, Austin & Tiffany Layman, McKenzie & Cameron Bass; Great-Grandchild, Ashlynn Wyrick; Sister & Brother-in-law, Norma & William Ledbetter of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating. Family and friends will assemble for a private interment at Laws Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, October 16, 2008.
