Dorothy Kate Coleman age 87 of Walland, TN died on Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Woodstock, GA where she had recently relocated. Kate was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Originally from the Lonsdale and Alcoa communities, Kate was alum of Friendsville Academy in Friendsville, TN and attended UT. Preceded in death by husband, Matthew T. Coleman; son, Don Coleman and brother, Lonnie Gibson. Survived by daughters, Carol Adams and Mary Linkous, and son in law Brian Linkous. Grandchildren, Kimberly Tarver and Cory Tarver, James Adams, Evelyn, Coleman and Miranda Linkous. Great Grandchildren: Katelyn and Lincoln Tarver. Funeral service 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Steve Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
