Doris Fritts Sterling

Doris Fritts Sterling passed away on June 6, 2009 at Baptist Hospital West. She was born in Knoxville, TN on July 12, 1923 and had been retired from UT for over 20 years. Preceded in death by parents, Charles Boyd Fritts & Mary Irene Hooks Fritts, granddaughter Elisabeth Sterling. Survived by brother Lee Fritts of Maryville, son Ray "Brownie" and wife Debbie of Harrogate, son Charles and wife Kelly of Maryville, son Jeff of Maryville, grandchildren, Melody Sterling of Knoxville, Michael Sterling and wife Lisa of Louisville, Rebekah Sterling and husband Etienne Poliquin of Los Angeles, Hannah Sterling, Matthew Sterling, Ben Sterling all of Maryville, Moriah Sterling and Bethany Sterling both of Massachusetts. There will be an informal receiving of friends from 4 PM to 6PM at Smith Life Event Center, 1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville on Saturday June 13, 2009.
