Dora Tipton Burnett

Dora Tipton Burnett age 94 of Maryville, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 peacefully at her home with her family by her side. She was raised in Cades Cove and had a great love for her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grason & Roenia Tipton and her husband, Isaac Edmond Burnett; brothers, Ambrose, Perry, Royal, Riley, Earl & Claude Tipton; sisters, Clemmie Correll, Martha Sparks & Lou Burnett; infant son, Thomas Burnett and great-granddaughter, MacKenzie Faith Byrum. Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, Raymond & Shirley Burnett of Suches, GA, Roy & Lois Burnett of Maryville; grandchildren, Todd Burnett of Sharpsburg, GA, Sandi Osborne and Amy Byrum both of Maryville; great-grandchildren, Annabeth, Addison & Brady Burnett of Sharpsburg, GA, Tyler Burnett, Kelly Osborne & Haylee Byrum of Maryville; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, April 12, 2010 from 1:00-2:30 pm at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service at 2:30 pm Monday with Rev. Todd Burnett officiating.
