MSGT Donald L. Swanner Sr. age 58 of Louisville passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Colonial Hills Health Care Center. He was Retired U.S.A.F. with 37 years of service serving in Desert Storm. He was a member of Meadow Methodist Church and of V.F.W. He was also a member of the local Airbase Club and The American Legion. Preceded in death by: Brothers, Dewey Swanner & Dennis Swanner; Mother, Lillian Swanner. Survivors include: Wife of 11 years, Sue Truett Swanner; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Donnie & Wendy Swanner of Louisville, Robbie & April Cook and Josh & Samantha Cook all of Jackson, KY; Daughter & Son-in-law, Lori & Kelvin Breeden of Louisville; Grandchildren, Abby & Austin Breeden and Cole & Logan Swanner; Kieana Cook; Dad, John Swanner. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 18, 2007, Trinity Chapel with Rev. Jason Word officiating. Interment will follow at Cloyds Creek Cemetery. Pall bears will be Oggie Martin, Bobby Holcomb, Henry Manor, Bill Rutherford, Mark White, and Carl Myers.
