Donald Lynn Phelps Sr.

Donald Lynn Phelps Sr. Age 67 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a Veteran of Vietnam serving in the United States Army. He retired from West Side Honda with 27 years of service. Don was an avid car collector. He was a loving and devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by: Father, Charles Phelps. Survivors include: Wife of 43 years, Lavonda Phelps; Son & Daughter-in-law, Lynn & Erin Phelps of Alcoa; Grandchildren, Kinsley Phelps and Brayden Phelps; Mother, Kathleen Phelps of Maryville; Brother & Sister-in-law, Alan & Angela Phelps of Maryville; Sister, Janice Phelps of Maryville; two nieces, one nephew and other family also survive. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
