Donald M. Martak "Our Beloved Brother"; age 54, of Rockford, died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the family home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 173rd Airborne Division stationed in Germany serving in Vietnam. A member of the American Legion and V.F.W, and a former member of Painter Local #437. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Irene Martak; sister, Debbie Martak Connatser and an infant sister; He is survived by brothers and sister-in-law, James Martak of Rockford, Justin Martak of Maryville, and Ronald and Anne Martak of Friendsville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Bill Whitehead of Greenback, Ann and Paul Blair of Maryville; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Michael J.; We would like to express special thanks to U.T. Hospice especially Debra Baxley, Darlene Raisor, and Florence Wrancher; Graveside service and Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery with Friend Ray Whitehead and Rev. Jack Housley officiating and Michael Whitehead, Kris Whitehead, Scott Blair, Tim Connatser, Dereck Blair, and Preston Martak serving as pallbearers.
