Don Eldon Bailey

Don Bailey, 86, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born August 31, 1932. Don was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Preceded in death by: Wife of 42 years, Virginia Burdine Bailey; Mother & Father, Lucille & Wayne Baily; Brother & Sister, C.W. Bailey & Delores Hughes. He is survived by many friends and associates who cared about and loved him dearly, including those who worked alongside him during his more than 60 years of service at West Chevrolet in Alcoa, TN – the longest tenure of any staff member at the company in its 87 years history. Friends may come by the funeral home and sign the book between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 12:15 pm, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
