Diane Barbara Poore

Diane Barbara Poore, age 80, of Walland, passed away quietly in her sleep on Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home away from home in Oneida, Tennessee, with her husband Jack by her side. Diane was born in Buffalo, New York, on July 26, 1942.  She graduated from DeSales High School and worked for Eastern Airlines in Washington, D. C., where she met Jack. In 1982 The family moved to Walland, where Diane started Crikett Lane Kennels, which was her beloved life’s work.

Preceded in death by parents Carl and Lenore Hettrick; 2 sisters Kristine Eckner and Kimberly Hettrick; 1 brother Gary Hettrick; and son David Wayne Poore.  Survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Wayne Poore; daughter and son in law Kerri Poore and Sanda Rajaonson, daughter and son in law Jennifer and Scott Hicks; 1 brother Brian Hettrick; 2 sisters Lauren Bettag and Pamela White; and 6 grandchildren Jesse, Meghan, Mackenzie, Eva Marie, Wyatt, and Gabriel.

She was passionate for life, her family, her Crikett Lane friends, and animals. She will be missed by all who knew her.
