Diane Wear Headrick

Diane Wear Headrick age 67 of Townsend passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, GA. She was a lifetime member of Bethel Baptist Church and retired from Delta Airlines. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Nellie Wear. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Lowell Headrick; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert L. and Melinda Headrick, Michael H. and Kerma Headrick all of Maryville; grandchildren, Grace, Chatham, Sebastian, Lillian, Thomas, and Sarah; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Bob Breazeale, Bobbie Nelle and Andy Beckmann; several nieces and nephews and many beloved and cherished friends all over the world. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Steve Linginfelter and Rev. Marcus Kelley officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Townsend for the interment. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Smoky Mountain Heritage Center. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 983-1000.
