Diane Arden age 57 of Friendsville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Diane was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Beloved husband of 36 years, James Buddy Arden; Mother & Step-father, Mary Ann & Bud Linger; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Hoyt & Helen Arden. Survivors include: Sons, James H. Arden Jr. and Jason Arden; Daughter & Son-in-law, Patty & Billy Williford; Father & Step-mother, Robert & Jacqueline Riddle; Grandchildren, B.J., Bethany, Britney, & Briley Williford; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Robert & Sharon Riddle and Richard & Karen Riddle; Nieces and Nephews, Doug & Melanie Riddlge, Michelle & Ryan Anderson, Meagan Riddle, Melissa Riddle, and Jeremiah Riddle; Great Nephew, Braxton Anderson; Great Nieces, Emmie & Tricia Riddle; Special Lifetime Friends, Tudi & Jessie Hundley, Larry, Terry & Kimberly Duncan, Dylan Powers, Lydia Arden, and Teresa Crabtree. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Tom Hatley officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 19, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery.
