Diana Chaney Roberts Smith

Diana Chaney Roberts Smith, age 69 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was known as Aunt Dinee to many nieces and nephews, and Ms. Di and Aunt Di to a lot of children. Diana was retired from Day Care after 29 years of faithful service. She was preceded by her parents, Esmond and Rose Lee Chaney; sister, Bobbi Frye and brother, Kenneth Chaney.   Survivors include her brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Henry Chaney, David Eugene and Sarah Chaney, and Roy Edward Chaney; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Charles Wilson, Virginia Morton, and Elizabeth and Rev. Jack Huskey, all of Maryville;  many nieces , nephews, and other family also survive.  Friends may call at their convenience on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service.  Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 pm at Grandview Cemetery for graveside services and interment with Rev. Jack Huskey officiating.
