Devon James Brannon

Devon James Brannon “Jim”, 71 of Maryville went home to be with the Lord July 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Jim was a loving and devoted husband, Dad, Papaw, and Great-Papaw. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Jim was a builder in Blount County for more than forty years. He touched many lives during his career. He enjoyed his work and blessing others. Jim was a member of Maryville Church of Christ. Preceded in death by: Parents, Gerald & Erlene (Stewart) Brannon; Brothers, Tom Brannon, Ovanda Brannon; Grandson, Travis Russell. Survived by: Loving Wife of 42 years, Ann Brannon; Daughters, Katina Brannon (Terry), Rebecca Tilley; Sons, Steve Brannon, Adam Brannon (Christy); Sisters, Patricia Smith, Priscilla Upshaw; Twelve Grandchildren, one whom he raised as his own Chelsea Lamb (Brandon); Three Great-Grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wilbur Barton officiating.
