Dennis Pershing

Pershing, Dennis K. (Mr. P.) age 51 of Alcoa passed away peacefully Monday December 18, 2006, at his home He was a member of First United Methodist of Alcoa and a school teacher for the City of Alcoa for 28 years. He was a special friend to all kids and voted by students as "Outstanding Teacher" multiple times. Preceded in death by: Mother, Lola Pershing. Survivors include: Father and Step-mother, J.E. & Mae Pershing; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Jim & Brenda Pershing of Loudon, Steve & Susan Pershing of Maryville, and Ed & Karen Pershing of Knoxville; Nephews; Brad, Whit, and Ryan; Nieces, Anjanette, Ashlea, and Kristen. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Wednesday December 20, 2006 at Alcoa First United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Green officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Thursday December 21, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
