Delores Shields Watson

Delores Shields Watson age 81 of Maryville passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at UT Hospital. She worked for 37½ years at ALCOA. She was a perfect mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend who was loved dearly by all. She always put others before herself and loved Jesus with all her heart. She was an amazingly kind, generous and thoughtful person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband, Roger D. Watson, her son, Christopher D. Watson and her parents, Luther Herman Shields and Jennie Parker Shields. Survivors include: Daughters, Tara Watson Cooper & husband Randy and Sherry Watson Nichols & husband Bob; Grandchildren, Aaron Nichols, Grace Nichols, Daniel Nichols, Bonni Nichols, Tristan Cooper, Mia Cooper, Maddi Cooper, and Douglas Cooper; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Don Andrew Shields. Public viewing will be available at the funeral home after 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 23, 2017. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Monday, July 24, 2017 at Smithview Pavilion.
