Deanna Gail Jones

Deanna Gail Word Jones, age 51, of Maryville went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 18, 2013. Deanna loved working with her flowers and her animals. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Conard and Jean Hill and Delmar and Thelma Word; uncles, Jerry L. Hill, Bill Keith, and Jim McLemore; aunt, Mary Ruth Bradam; children's father, Ricky Stallans. Survivors include her mother, Sarah L. (Joe) Tipton; father, Leon (Gwen) Word; brothers, Dennis Word, Rev. Jason Word, and Joey Tipton; daughters, Chrissy Stallans and Heather (B.J.) Zickefoose; sons, Justin Stallans and Danny Jones; five grandchildren and the light of her life, Autumn, Shea, Emily, Dakota, and Aden; children's father and best friend, Ivan Jones; a host of other family members and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Palliative Care nurses, the SICU Unit and the Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery for the graveside service and interment with Rev. Delbert Raines and Rev. Jason Word officiating. Family will have a time of fellowship from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith's Life Event Center.
