Smith, Deadrick Gene "Deadeye" age 64 of Maryville passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 suddenly at his home. He was currently employed with Rinker Materials. He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps and belonged to the East Tennessee Mopar Club. He was a Nascar fan, UT fan, and loved football and basketball. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was loved by all. Preceded in death by: Mother & Father, Hazel Huskey Smith & Mack Smith; Brother, Mack Smith Jr. Survivors include: Wife, Sally Caughron Smith; Son, Deadrick William "Rick" Smith of Smyrna, TN; Stepson, Brian Gregory & wife Shannon of Louisville; Stepson, Larry Gregory & wife Pam of Oak Ridge; Grandchildren, Cody Gregory, Macy Galyon, Faith Shire, Niki Stinnett, and Sara Gregory; Brother, William Smith & wife Carol of Knoxville; Sister, Mary Lee Trott & husband James of Knoxville; Sister-in-law, Wally Smith of Virginia Beach, VA; Special friends, Teddy Dunn & Bob Kennedy; Love of his life, Little Man. Memorial service will be at 8:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2007 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. David Anderson officiating.
