David West Becker

David W. Becker was born in Nashville, TN, November 10,1952. He died on April 13, 2025. Dave ran his own business for 30 years, a food delivery service mostly to small towns called Dave’s Gourmet Foods. In his youth he was a cross country runner, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. In later years he joined the Old Harp Singers, and he was proud of his public service. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Tina Becker, of Maryville, TN, a sister and brother-in-law, Miriam and Joe Bauers of Champaign, IL, and two brothers-in-law of Midland, TX and their families. He will be missed by his cousins, neighbors, and a close friend, Tony Audrieth of Champaign, IL. Preceded in death by his parents, aunts, and close friend and mentor, Don Brakebill. Dave was best known as a kind person and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Foothills UU Church, P. O. Box 146, Alcoa, TN 37701. He requested no services.
