Darwin “Dick” Anweiler, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2018. He was born on May 2, 1927 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of the late Morris and Helen Anweiler the fourth of five siblings who preceded him home. He was also preceded by his great-grandson, Cameron Faor. He was a devoted father and husband to his late wife Ruth Anweiler. He loved to draw and was an amazing artist winning a national poster contest with his poster being hung in the Washington Museum. He loved to fish and share his “big” fish stories. He loved working with wood making furniture for his family and friends. He was blessed to work doing what he loved as a cabinet designer for 21 years at Phillips (Magnavox). He loved playing with his grandchildren and passing on his values of hard work, devotion, and perseverance. He loved his friends and fellowship at Faith Promise Church (Blount Campus). He is survived by his children Conra Faor, Nancy and Pat Miller, Edward and Sharon Anweiler, Kathy Ramey and her late husband, Jerry, Darlene Tang and her late husband, Dennis, Dale Anweiler and his late wife, Robin, and Diane and Mark Cate; 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren also survive.
