Danna R. Skeen

Skeen, Danna R., 73 of Maryville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2011. He was a member of Central Baptist Church Alcoa. He was preceded in death by sister Joyce Guider and brother Zack Skeen, Jr. Survivors include wife of 52 years, Mary Skeen, daughter Lisa Curtis and husband Jeff, son Eric Skeen and wife Robin; grandchildren Daniel, Zach, and Anna Curtis all of Maryville.; Brothers, Carson Skeen of New Market, Ralph Skeen of Seymour, and Glen Skeen of Carthage; Sisters, Wonetta Goddard of Jefferson City, Flora Newman of Maryville, Stella Hayes of Maryville, and Madeline Stallings of Jefferson City. He faithfully served the Lord in the music ministries of several area churches. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral and Cremation Service with the Rev. W.A. Galyon and Rev. George Gilbert officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 am Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm prior to the service.
