Dallas Edward Jenkins

Dallas Edward Jenkins age 66 of Rockford passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was an avid bluegrass musician who was well known in Blount County. Dallas was a retired Teamster and loved fishing. Preceded in death by his parents, Vester and Emmer Jenkins; sister, Joyce Wilson. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Linda Jenkins; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Denise Jenkins and Bill and Terri Jenkins; grandchildren, Bobby Lee Jenkins and Nigel Jenkins; sister, Marie Hynes. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in the Smith West Chapel. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service.
