Dale Lee Whitaker

Dale Lee (Sunny) Whitaker age 62 of Maryville went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center with family at his side. He was a member at First Baptist Church of Alcoa and Mustang Ministries. He was a graduate of Porter High School in 1969. Dale retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. Preceded in death by: Wife, Brenda, Parents, James & Betty Whitaker; Sister, Kimberly Susan Whitaker; Nephew, Shawn Myers. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Landon & Kathi Whitaker of Maryville; Grandchildren, Sager Whitaker and Caden Whitaker; Brother & Sister-in-law, Jimmy & Karen Whitaker of Maryville; Sister & Brother-in-law, Sherry & Rick Myers of Walland; Nephew and Niece, Jamie Whitaker of Maryville and Michelle Myers of Rossville, GA; Aunt, Carol Mason; Uncle, Kyle Crawford. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, July 6, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Floyd Lambert officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel for the entombment.
