Cullen Ervie Myers passed away at UT Hospital on August 31, 2016. He was born in Townsend, TN on July 22, 1942 to LB “Bud” and Julia Myers. He retired from ALCOA after many years of service. Cullen was a loving husband and father who lived life to the fullest. He was an avid Vol and Nascar fan, loved 60’s music and thoroughly enjoyed arguing politics. He cherished his lifelong friendships. Preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Harrell B. Myers and Ralph Myers; sister, Alene Phillips. Survivors include: devoted wife, Debbie Henry Myers; beloved daughter, Felicia Myers Smith & her husband JT Smith who he considered a son; son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Michelle Myers; stepson, Mike Perry; stepdaughter, Bobbie Phillips. He was blessed by 5 beautiful grandchildren, Nathan, Lukas, and Kaleb Myers; step-grandchildren, Jackson & Reese Phillips; sisters-in-law, Marie Myers, Lisa (Bob) Teffeteller, and Carol Henry; brothers-in-law, David (Debbie) Henry & Robbie (Becki) Henry; several lifelong friends who meant the world to him, and his nephews and nieces; cousin, AJ Jackson (Wanda). Per his wishes, he wanted to be cremated without services. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
