Cora Louise Myers

Cora Louise Myers age 82, of Maryville, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at the family home with her daughters at her side. She was a member of Rocky Branch Bethel Baptist church in Walland. She was a devoted loving wife, precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who truly loved her family. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: Beloved husband, Albert D. Myers of 61 years; infant daughter, Patricia; parents, Otha & Stella Barbra; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Daniel & Iva Myers; brothers, Charles, Ray & Johnnie Barbra; brother-in-law, Stanley Garner; nephew, Shawn Riddle. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Judy & Howard Wilburn of Maryville and Brenda & Jack Bradley of Shalimar, FL; Grandchildren, Michelle Newbold & husband Craig of Roswell, GA, Travis Wilburn of Phoenix, AZ, and Emily Wilkinson & husband Pete of Louisville, KY; Great-Grandchildren, Hannah, Haley, Haven and Harris Newbold of Roswell, GA; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Clinton & Joy Barbra of Walland, Harold & Lois Barbra, Wayne & Leah Barbra; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Ruth Garner, Thelma & Darrell Gregory, Janice & George Lowe all of Maryville; sisters-in-law, Avis & Joyce Barbra; numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver Shirley Waters. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Mary’s Hospice for their loving care. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Chad Riddle and Rev. Rex Everett officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Grandview Cemetery.
