Connie Wallace

Sunday, November 26, Cona Faye Wallace joined her eternal father in heaven. To her family and friends, she was known as Connie. To her world, she was known as mom, mamaw, and baby.

Connie was married to her husband, Gene for 58 wonderful years, together they raised three children. Connie was a Godly and family-loving woman who instilled the same values in all her children and grandkids. Connie was a member of Lafollette Church of God, where she was active in many functions of the church.

Connie enjoyed riding horses, working in the garden, and shopping with her girls. She was able to live out the dreams of her mother and sister by opening and running Mom and Pop's Cafe in Friendsville. 

Connie is survived by her husband, Gene, Son, Mark, wife Donna, Daughters, Kim, husband Shane, and daughter, Tonya, husband Michael. Grandkids, Erika, Justin, Taylor, Jacob, Hailey, Nate and Mattie, Great-grandkids Jackson, Charlotte, and Amelia. Her only living brother, Jerry, and wife Judy. Many nieces and nephews, she treated as her own. Connie was greeted at heaven's gate by her parents, sister, and brothers.

While Connie will be missed by all, the family has comfort knowing she is rejoicing and celebrating her newfound life with no more pain in heaven. Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 03, 2023 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev.
