CMSGT George Aaron “Tiger” Jones, age 93 of Louisville, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at the family home. Preceded in death by his parents, George F. “Banks” Jones and Effie Early Jones of Epworth, GA; sister, Ezell Davenport of Titusville, Fl.; brothers, Marvin Jones of Dalton, GA and Ray Jones of Dahlonaga, GA; sister, Lorene Postell of Ellijoy, GA; and brothers, Billy Jones of Epworth, GA and Jimmy Jones of Blue Ridge, GA; Survived by his wife, Viola Holden Jones of Louisville, TN; son, Elton and Katie Jones of Maryville; daughter, Karen and Art Wedemeyer of Kernersville, NC; grandchildren, Nicholas Wedemeyer and Fiance, Erica Norris of Leland, NC; Amy and Justin Craver of Oak Ridge, NC; Christopher Jones of GA, Ashley Jones Summers and Corey Summers of Sevierville, TN; great grandchildren, Carston and Finley Wedemeyer of Leland, NC and Peyton Craver of Oak Ridge, NC; Kaleb, Wyatt, and Ace Summers of TN; brothers and sisters-in law, Emon and Jean Jones and Johnny and Ann Jones; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen and Spence Dilbeck, Shelby and Bill Patterson, and Bettye and Bob Chastain; The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 5:00 until 6:00pm in the Smith Trinity Chapel with a celebration of life to follow at 6:00pm.
