Clyde Arthur Gentry

Clyde Arthur Gentry, age 86, of Townsend passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at his home following a long illness. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church of Maryville, where he had served in many capacities including verger. He was a member of the Masonic Hillsborough Lodge No. 25 F.&A.M. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debe and Charlie Hanie; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Mitchell Thompson; grandsons, Cale and Eric Hanie and Jimmy and Erin Thompson; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Tiffany and Chanel Thompson.
