Clifford Reed

Clifford Reed, 94, of Maryville, TN, formerly of South Bend, IN, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church, and also a 50-year member of Rockford Masonic Lodge # 469. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stonewall and Ollie Reed; sister, Birdie (Tom) Barlow; brothers, Morgan (Daisy) Reed and Stonewall Reed, Jr. He retired on June 30, 1982 from Bendix Corporation, South Bend, Indiana with 30 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Gladys; many nieces and nephews; special nephew, W. T. "Dub" Reed and wife Marge; brother-in-law, Mike Tipton and wife Thelma, Bruce Tipton and wife Sue. Funeral Service will be on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. George Macht and Rev. John Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Piney Level Cemetery.
