Clell Lester Cable

Clell Lester Cable age 78 of Maryville Died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and started trucking in 1950 and formed C&C Trucking Inc. in 1965 where he presently remained as its owner. Preceded in death by his father, Dan Cable; mother, Ova Cable Shore; brother, Glen Cable; sisters, Geneva Borden and Joyce Carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Laverne Tipton Cable; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Janie Cable of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tommy Brewster of Maryville; grandchildren, Gary Lynn and Jennifer Cable and Greg and Kasey Cable, Lacey, Lindsay, and Logan Brewster,; great grandchildren, Alexis, Taylor, Sydney and Cameron Cable; brothers, Ed Shore and Janie Fields and Johnny and Judy Shore; sisters, Cricket and Jim Horne and Molly and Eugene Jones all of Maryville. The family would like to express their special thanks to Dr. John Ingram and staff for their special care and concern. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Bill White and Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Grandview Cemetery.
