Claude L. Crowder

Claude L. Crowder age 78 of Greenback went home to his Lord on Monday, June 2, 2014. Claude was a devoted member of First Apostolic Church of Maryville. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. He loved his family and especially enjoyed time with his great grandson, Maddox and his beloved dog, Mack. Preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Grace Crowder; brothers, Wade, Ray, Glen, and JW Crowder; sisters, Marie (Woodrow) Murr and Faye (David) Watson; grandchildren, Michael and Erica Estes. Claude is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary; sons, Michael and Rodney Crowder; daughters, Carol (Art) Castaneda, Cathy (Kevin) Lotz, Susan (Rick) Knight, and Lisa Crowder; grandchildren, Chesley and Catrina Gartin and Kara and Ryan Knight; great grandchildren, Makenzie Estes, Chesley, Jr. and Jessie Gartin and Maddox Williams; nephew, Ed Hooper, many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at First Apostolic Church of Maryville with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 with Pastor Kenneth Carpenter officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 Friday, June 6, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
