Clarence S. Cutshall, 90, passed away peacefully at Shannondale of Maryville on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 after a short illness. He was born on September 6, 1932 in Mosheim, TN and grew up in the Fall Branch community. He graduated from Sullivan High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from ETSU. After his retirement from Tennessee Eastman in Kingsport he and Jannis moved to Alcoa in 2001 and built their retirement home here. He was a lifelong follower of the Baptist faith. Throughout his life he enjoyed family gatherings, always bringing his humor and laughter; travel, bowling, golf and was a longtime fan of NASCAR racing.    He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jannis Powers Cutshall; his parents, J.W. and Josephine Hendry Cutshall; three sisters, Louise Hays, Rowena Cole, and Charlotte Forester. He is survived by two daughters, Pam (Ron) Pyron of Rockwood, TN, and Patty Price of Maryville; three grandchildren, Jeremiah (Mary Clare) Pyron, Seth Price and Sara Price; three great-grandchildren, and special friend Pat Reynolds. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Grandview Mausoleum with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.    In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the American Cancer Society, Jill Rollins, Memorial Chair, 2330 Chesterfield Drive, Maryville, TN 37803 or the charitable organization of your choice.
