Clarence L. Cunningham

Clarence Cunningham age 86 of Athens passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. and a member of their 25- Year Club. Preceded in death by: 1st Wife, Irene Cunningham; 2nd Wife, Opalee Cunningham; Brother, Ted Cunningham; Sisters, Ruth Spradlin, Iva Raines, and Anna Raines. Survivors include: Wife, Pauleda Cunningham; Daughters, Barbara Webb of Athens, TN; Stepsons, Charles England and wife Marietta of Maryville, Charles Butler & wife Vivian of Decatur, TN and Ricky Butler Sr.; Stepdaughters, Nancy Miller of Athens, Kimberly McConkey of Athens and Ann Buckner & husband John of Athens; Granddaughters, Angie Tipton and Greta King; Five Great-Grandchildren; Three Great-Great-Grandchildren; 32 Step Grandchildren, Step Great-Grandchildren, and Step Great-Great-Grandchildren; Special nephew, Roy Raines; Special friend, Cleaston Radford. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, Tuesday, May 20, 2008, Smith Trinity Chapel.
