Clara Garbett Tartt

Clara Garbett Tartt, 72, Loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Mother, Mema, Aunt and Friend to many. She was born in 1937 in Miami, FL and was married and raised two daughters there. Then in 1984, moved to Orlando, FL for 16 yrs. Worked at UCF, moved to North Augusta, SC for 8 years, was a member of Victory Baptist Church, moved to Maryville, TN where July 22, 2010, her long battle with Alzheimer’s came to an end and God took her to her heavenly home as he promised to restore her mind and give her a new body. Those she left behind Husband, Charles A. Tartt, two Daughters and Son-in-laws, Van & Pam Braue (Brunswick, GA), Jeff & Debra Henry (Maryville, TN) Grandchildren Ben & Eric Braue, and Eryca & Trevor Henry and other family and friends. She will be missed deeply until we are reunited. She will be cremated after her gift of self to Alzheimer’s Research.
